Mission

Great Western Park Church supports a number of a number of Christian charities, both local and overseas who we are developing relationships with. Our aim is to provide financial assistance, mutual support in prayer, and over the long-term to potentially arrange exchange visits. The two organisations are:

Kirima Ltd.

A charity providing education for the schools and university in Kanungu, one of the poorest regions of rural Uganda.

Didcot Foodbank, Prospects and BMS World Mission

Didcot Foodbank, run by Didcot Baptist Church,  distributes food locally to those in need.  They have seen demand increase during lockdown and it is good to be able to support them financially and with regular food donations. We are also developing links with Prospects, a charity supporting people with learning disabilities reach their full potential, and Baptist Missionary Society World Mission, headquartered in Didcot, whose aim is to transform lives throughout the world. .

Evangelism and Outreach

We explore our faith and equip one another to share it. We also run explorer and nurture courses, which is a stimulating and social way to understand what it is we believe.
